Marie Nguyen Van Thuy

Customer Success Manager at YOOBIC

Marie Nguyen Van Thuy has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Marie started their career in 2010 as a Hostess Customer Service at Fnac and later worked as a Bartender at StandBuy in 2011. Marie also served as a Promotions Officer at Cabinet Latitude during the same year. In 2012, Marie worked as a Sales Consultant/Assistant Manager at Gémo, groupe ERAM.

During 2013, they volunteered as a News Reporter for Ride On LR, a regional website about extreme sports. Marie also contributed to the promotion of the website and guided riders on the TV set during the FISE, an international festival for extreme sports.

From 2014 to 2015, they worked as a Communication Officer at IRPS and FDR, two prevention structures created by Mutuelle Générale Environnement et Territoires (MGET), a French mutual assurance company.

In 2016, Marie held roles as a Freelance Communication Officer at IRPS-FDR and as a Freelance Web Editor for Adosen, an association created by MGEN.

Marie then took a Working Holiday Visa in Australia in 2016 and returned in 2017 to work as a Customer Support Officer at YOOBIC. In 2018, Marie became a Senior Manager of Customer Support at YOOBIC before progressing to the role of Global Customer Experience Manager. Marie'sresponsibilities in this role included building and managing the Customer Experience (CX) team, forecasting, hiring, and onboarding team members, and overall management of the CX department.

Currently, they hold the position of Customer Success Manager at YOOBIC, a role they began in February 2023.

Marie Nguyen Van Thuy started their education at Lycée de L'empéri, where they obtained their Baccalauréat (High School Diploma) in Literature in 2009. Marie then attended Université Paul Valéry - Montpellier III from 2009 to 2010, studying Foreign Languages and Literatures, General, although no degree was specified.

In 2010, Marie enrolled at Université Sorbonne Nouvelle and earned their Licence / Master 1 in Information-Communication in 2014. Following this, they pursued further education at ECS (European Communication School) from 2014 to 2015, specializing in Communication 360 and completing their Master 2 (M2) degree.

Marie also obtained additional certifications, including a Master 2 - Communication 360 from ECS Paris in September 2014, and a Licence/Maîtrise Information Communication from Université Sorbonne Nouvelle - Paris 3 in September 2011.
