Paolo Pompei currently serves as President and CEO of Yokohama TWS since May 2023 and has been a Board Member of ETRMA since July 2017. Prior to these roles, Paolo Pompei was President of Trelleborg Wheel Systems from January 2006 to May 2023, overseeing a global operation specializing in tires and wheel systems for various sectors, including agricultural and forestry, with a workforce of 3,500 employees across multiple manufacturing plants. Earlier in their career, Paolo Pompei held positions such as Commercial Director and Managing Director at Trelleborg Wheel Systems and Product Planner at Pirelli Tyres. Academic qualifications include a degree in Economics with a focus on International Trading from the University of Rome Tor Vergata and completion of a program at INSEAD in 2005.
