Cintia Sánchez García

Software Engineer at Yocto Project

Cintia Sánchez García has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Starting in 2020, they worked as a Software Engineer for The Linux Foundation, where they contributed to building the Artifact Hub for the Cloud Native Computing Foundation. Prior to this, in 2019, Cintia worked as a Software Engineer for Buoyant, Inc and made contributions to the Linkerd project.

From 2017 to 2019, Cintia worked as a Senior Software Engineer at iPowow, where they rebuilt the frontend of their realtime voting and gaming platform. Cintia also built their management studio used by clients to control the iPowow experience. Before iPowow, Cintia worked at eBay as a Senior Frontend Developer, where they built parts of the search, categorization, cars, and jobs sections of Gumtree, an online classified advertisement site.

Prior to eBay, Cintia worked as a Lead Frontend Developer for Pacific Magazines, where they led the construction of multiple web applications and acted as a point of contact for cross-team initiatives. Cintia also mentored junior developers and contributed to cross-platform technology solutions. Before Pacific Magazines, Cintia worked as a Frontend Developer at Ward6, where they developed web applications and static sites and implemented pixel-perfect designs.

In 2012, Cintia worked as a Frontend Engineer for Inkwire, Inc., designing and building web applications using HTML5, CSS3, Backbone.js, Marionette.js, and jQuery. Earlier in their career, they co-founded and served as the Frontend Lead for Parsel10 and worked as a Web/Mobile Developer and Designer for Formación Digital.

Throughout their career, Cintia has gained expertise in various technologies including React, Redux, Typescript, CSS Modules, Webpack, ES6, and more. Cintia has also collaborated with UX and QA teams and worked in Agile/Scrum environments.

Cintia Sánchez García pursued a Bachelor's degree in Advertising and Public Relations from the Universidad de Sevilla, completing their studies from 1999 to 2002.
