Gareth Forbes is an experienced professional in data science and analytics, currently serving as the Head of Analytics at Yoco since May 2021, where responsibilities include managing and mentoring a team while developing variance modeling techniques for anomaly detection. Prior to Yoco, Forbes held the position of VP of Publicis Data Sciences at Publicis Groupe Africa, focusing on team expansion and project management. Additional experience includes roles at Fintec Labs, Barclays Corporate & Investment Bank, Absa Group, and IMPERIAL Group, where expertise in data consulting, strategic solutions, risk modeling, and pricing optimization was demonstrated. Gareth Forbes holds a BCom Honours in Business Finance from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
