Allison Ross has an extensive work experience in human resources and people management. Allison is currently working as the Executive Manager People and Culture / Safeguarding Lead at YMCA WA since June 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Director People and Culture at Lions Eye Institute from April 2021 to June 2022. Allison also worked at Bethanie, where they held the positions of Manager Human Resources from September 2018 to April 2021, and General Manager Human Resources from June 2017 to August 2018. Allison has also worked as an HR Manager at The University of Western Australia from August 2016 to June 2017. Earlier in their career, they held various HR roles at BT Financial Group, B&Q, Fujitsu Microelectronics, and Santander Consumer Bank. Allison's expertise includes HR strategy development, talent management, workforce design, performance management, and employee engagement.
Allison Ross has a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in Psychology from the University of Worcester, which they obtained from 1988 to 1991. Allison also has a Diploma in Management Studies from Oxford Brookes University, which they completed from 1992 to 1993. In 1994 to 1996, they earned a Diploma in HR Management from CIPD Qualifications. Lastly, in 2017, they attended Being Human and became a Prosci Certified Change Practitioner in the field of Change Management.
