Tara Julien currently serves as the Association Director of Membership Engagement and Business Services at the YMCA of Greater Grand Rapids, a position held since November 2004, where responsibilities include leading strategic planning for member engagement and retention, as well as enhancing the member experience. Previous roles at the YMCA include Business Services Director, where improvements to Contact Center systems were made, and various Membership Director positions, achieving significant membership growth and revenue. Prior to the YMCA, Tara Julien managed apartment communities at River Oaks Apartments and Woodland Creek Apartments, overseeing operations and financial responsibilities. Educationally, Tara Julien holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Western Michigan University and a Paralegal Degree from Davenport University.
