Cindy Torvik is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in retail management, housekeeping services, and fitness instruction. As the Director of Retail & Volunteers at Dallas County Closet since January 2017, Cindy has demonstrated strong leadership skills. Additionally, Cindy co-owns Shine Housekeeping Service, contributing to its operations since January 2020. With a long-standing commitment to fitness, Cindy has been a Fitness Instructor at YMCA of Greater Des Moines since May 2007, specializing in cycling and BodyPump classes. Prior to these roles, Cindy served as Manager and Chief Organizer at Straighten Your Paths from April 2007 to January 2017, where responsibilities included client interaction and strategic planning. Cindy holds both a BA and an MBA in Business Administration from the University of Northern Iowa, earned between 1986 and 1996.
