Jonathan Sproul

Jonathan Sproul has an extensive work experience in various organizations. Jonathan currently holds the position of Executive Director of Adult Education & Workforce Development at the YMCA of Greater Boston, which they started in March 2022. Prior to this role, they worked as an Independent Contractor for the YMCA from November 2021 to March 2022.

From December 2018 to September 2021, they served as the President & CEO of Cape Abilities. Jonathan Sproul obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Film Studies from Columbia University, which they attended from 1996 to 2000. Jonathan then pursued further studies at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, where they received a Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree in School Leadership from 2007 to 2008. In addition to their degrees, they have also obtained the following certifications: Social Impact Management & Leadership from the Institute for Nonprofit Practice in May 2023, and Sheltered English Endorsement from the MA Department of Elementary and Secondary Education in March 2022. Furthermore, they have obtained a certification in School Superintendent/Assistant School Superintendent, although the specific details of its institution and acquisition are not provided.
