Esther Nixon is an experienced professional in therapeutic and family services, currently serving as the Therapeutic and Family Services Manager at YMCA Norfolk since November 2018. In this role, Esther ensures the effective delivery of services within the community team. As the Wellbeing Matters Project Lead, Esther leads a dedicated team focused on mental health, well-being, and support for individuals, families, and children across Norfolk. Esther's background includes positions as a Senior Wellbeing Engagement Worker and Family Engagement Worker at Empanda YPS, as well as a Housing Support Worker at One Church Norwich Elim. Previous experience includes Head of Children and Youth Department at Mercy United Kingdom and Children's Pastor at Life Church Bradford, where comprehensive programs for young children were developed and implemented. Educational qualifications include a BSc (Hons) in Integrative Counselling from Middlesex University and completion of studies at Roffey Place Bible College.
