Lalit Rao is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in software development and engineering leadership. Currently serving as Head of Engineering at Yilu since December 2019, Lalit has also held roles as Lead Backend Engineer and Senior Software Engineer within the company. Additionally, Lalit contributes to the Eclipse Foundation as an Eclipse Vert.x Contributor since August 2018, having successfully completed the vertx-service-proxy project. Prior experience includes positions as Software Developer Engineer - II and Software Engineer at Hopscotch.in from November 2015 to October 2019, as well as serving as an Associate Application Engineer at Merce Technologies Private Limited for several months in 2015. Lalit holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from the University of Mumbai, earned in 2015.
