Magdalena Palacha, CPA, currently serves as VP, Corporate Controller & Fund Management at Yieldstreet since August 2024, following their role as Corporate Controller at Cadre, which was acquired by Yieldstreet in January 2024. Prior experience includes serving as Financial Controller at Gemini from 2021 to 2022, where responsibilities encompassed revenue and digital assets, GL operations, technical accounting, and financial reporting. From 2018 to 2021, Magdalena was the Director of Technical Accounting and Financial Reporting at Juul Labs, specializing in revenue recognition and complex accounting topics. Magdalena began their career at Deloitte as an Audit & Assurance Manager from 2010 to 2018, with experience in public accounting across various industries. Additionally, an internship in management consulting was completed at Accenture in 2009. Magdalena holds a Master in Finance and Accounting from SGH Warsaw School of Economics and has further education from ZHAW School of Management and Law.
