Stephen Lynch has significant experience in the finance and operations control of the hospitality industry. Stephen served as CFO and Company Secretary at YHA Australia starting in September 2009. Before that, they held the position of Group Financial Controller at Rydges Hotels & Resorts from January 2008 to August 2009. In this role, they were responsible for financial control and performance across multiple locations. Prior to that, they were Group Operations Controller at AHL - Hospitality & Leisure (now Event) from January 2002 to December 2007.
Stephen Lynch attended St Joseph's College Hunters Hill from 1981 to 1983, where they completed high school. Stephen then studied Commerce and Accounting at UNSW from 1987 to 1990. In 1998, they attended RMIT University, but no specific degree or field of study is provided. In 2013, they completed the Company Directors Course at the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
