Naomi Myers has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Naomi'smost recent role was as the Head of People & Culture at YHA Australia since November 2020. Prior to that, they held the position of Committee Member - Organisational Design & Development Specialist Area Committee at Australian HR Institute (AHRI) since January 2017. Before their time at AHRI, they worked at DOOLEYS Lidcombe Catholic Club, where they held various positions, including Executive Manager, Organisational Development from December 2011 to November 2020, and People & Learning Advisor from July 2009 to December 2011. In 2020, they also volunteered as an HR Volunteer at ProjectDisplaced from March to September. Additionally, they served as a Committee Member at NSW Department of Industry from February 2017 to July 2018. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Search Consultant at Carmichael Fisher from April 2003 to December 2008 and as a Principal Consultant at IPA Group from 1998 to 2000.
Naomi Myers completed their education history by earning a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resources Management from Charles Sturt University from 2015 to 2017. Naomi also completed a short-term program in Business Excellence at the Disney Institute in Orlando in 2015. Prior to that, Naomi obtained a B.Bus degree in Hospitality Management from The University of Queensland. In addition to their formal education, Naomi has obtained certifications in Organizational Culture from LinkedIn, Level One Organizational Coach from the Institute of Executive Coaching and Leadership (IECL), and Mental Health First Aid Accreditation from Mental Health First Aid Australia.
