Ioannis (Yanni) Anastasiou is a highly qualified gastroenterologist with extensive experience in advanced endoscopy and gastroenterology. Currently serving as the Clinical Lead in Endoscopy/Gastroenterology at Ygia Polyclinic Private Hospital since February 2024, Ioannis previously held positions including Assistant Professor of Medicine and Advanced Endoscopist at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, and Director of Advanced Endoscopy at the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System. Ioannis's academic background includes a PhD focused on prognostic markers for cirrhotic patients from Ethnikon kai Kapodistriakon Panepistimion Athinon and clinical fellowship training at Harvard University. Ioannis has contributed to the field as a Fellow of the European Board of Gastroenterology and Hepatology and continues to maintain a strong commitment to research and education in gastroenterology.
