Ákos Tamás Gátszegi is a seasoned software engineering manager with extensive experience in team leadership, software development, and data infrastructure management. Currently serving as a Software Engineering Manager at Yext following its acquisition of Hearsay Systems, Ákos previously revitalized the Data Infrastructure team at Hearsay and led rapid development projects involving GenAI technology. Prior to Hearsay, Ákos held roles at ION, where responsibilities included managing multiple teams in automation and supporting applications, as well as overseeing agile processes. Earlier career highlights include a management position at Dealogic, which developed a scalable Data Ingestion System, and various technical roles at Deutsche Telekom and IQSYS, focusing on system design and coordination. Ákos holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering and Media Informatics from Budapest University of Technology and Economics.
