Sutripto Majumder is a Research Assistant Professor at Yeungnam University since March 2021 and previously served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Chungnam National University from June 2018 to March 2021. Prior to that, Sutripto Majumder was a faculty member at the National Institute of Technology Raipur, responsible for teaching Applied Physics and Basic Electronics. A research scholar at Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology from July 2013 to June 2017 completed a thesis on nanostructured thin film solar cells. Earlier academic experience includes working as a Junior Research Fellow at the University of Allahabad, focusing on carbon dots synthesis, and as an Assistant Professor at the Oriental Institute of Science and Technology, where instruction was provided in Engineering Physics. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Materials Science from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology, a Junior Research Fellowship from the University of Allahabad, and Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Physics from Rani Durgavati Vishwavidyalaya.
