Sagar Patra has a diverse work experience in the field of cybersecurity. Sagar started their career at Tata Consultancy Services as a Cyber Security Analyst in November 2020 and worked there until December 2021. In August 2020, they joined YesWeHack as a Security Researcher. Sagar Patra also served as a Chapter Leader at OWASP Foundation from August 2021 to November 2022. Currently, they are employed at Honeywell, where they have held the roles of Cyber Security Architect/Engineer I from December 2021 to April 2023 and Cyber Security Architect/Engineer II from April 2023 onwards.

Sagar Patra graduated from Siksha 'O' Anusandhan University in 2020 with a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering. After completing their undergraduate studies, they obtained additional certifications, including the ICSI | CNSS Certified Network Security Specialist from the International CyberSecurity Institute, UK in July 2020. Later, they earned the Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals certification from Microsoft in May 2021. Sagar also achieved the Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate certification from Microsoft in June 2021. Additionally, Sagar Patra obtained the OffSec Certified Professional (OSCP) certification from OffSec in May 2023.
