Eman Abdel Ghaffar

Senior Software Engineer || at Yassir

Eman Abdel Ghaffar has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Eman began their career as an intern at Giza Systems, where they developed a web application for project managers. Eman then served as a web master at ASME and later worked as a web developer at IT Synergy.

In 2015, Eman joined SpimeSenseLabs as a back-end developer, where they contributed to the development of MaterOfThings, an IoT application platform. Eman developed web services, integrated MQTT messaging, and wrote automated tests for high performance and responsiveness.

From 2016 to 2018, Eman worked at 360Imaging as a JavaScript Associate Developer. Eman was part of the cloud team responsible for developing products for support, sales, and planning teams. Eman developed the 360phone web app using Twilio for customer audio web calls and contributed to the development of the courier web app for order management.

In 2018, Eman joined Mendel.ai as a Software Engineer III. Eman was part of the backend team responsible for building a platform for managing clinical trials workflows. Their responsibilities included integrating AI team APIs and developing the process workflow system.

Eman's next role was at Halan, where they initially worked as a Software Engineer on the team that built the Halan super app. This app catered to micro-finance, ride-hailing, delivery, payments, BNPL, and e-commerce, with a user base of 5+ million users and 1.3 million monthly active users in February 2023. Eman later took on the role of Senior Software Engineer and contributed to the creation of MNT-Halan-Neuron, a core banking system with significant loan disbursal and monthly sales figures.

Most recently, Eman has joined Yassir as a Senior Software Engineer, starting in 2023.

Eman Abdel Ghaffar attended the Cairo University faculty of engineering from 2008 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering. In 2014, they enrolled at the Information Technology Institute and obtained a Technical Diploma in OpenSource in 2015.
