José Hugo Acosta Zuñiga has work experience as a Design Specialist at Yaskawa Motoman since June 2017. Prior to that, they worked as an Ingeniero de Diseño Mecánico at CIATEQ from May 2013 to March 2017.

José Hugo Acosta Zuñiga completed their education from 2004 to 2007 at UPA, where they earned a degree in Ingeniería Mecatrónica. Their field of study during this time focused on Diseño y dibujo asistidos por ordenador para la ingeniería mecánica. In addition to their degree, they obtained a certification in Autodesk Inventor Profesional 2015 from Autodesk in July 2015.
