John Elliott has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. John started their career as an Electrical Engineer at Monsanto in 1984 and worked there until 1989. John then joined Automation Technology Inc. as a Project Manager from 1989 to 1991. Following this, they moved to Hobart Brothers and worked as a Project Manager in the Advanced Systems Group from 1991 to 1997, where they contributed to the development of the universal robot controller, HAWCS II. In 1997, John joined Yaskawa Motoman as a Project Engineer, later transitioning to the role of Manager/Senior Manager from 2005 to 2012, where they managed the Technology Advancement Team. Currently, they hold the position of Associate Chief Engineer in the Product Solutions Group at Yaskawa Motoman, where they have been actively involved in developing a unique PLC solution for controlling multiple robots with ladder logic programming, specifically in Picking, Packing, and Palletizing applications.
John Elliott completed their education in the field of Electrical Engineering. From 1979 to 2003, they attended The University of Toledo and earned a Bachelor's degree (BSEE) in Electrical Engineering. John then pursued further studies at the University of Dayton from 2004 to 2007 and achieved a Master's degree (MSEE) in Electrical Engineering.
