Dianne Banks has a diverse work experience in the transportation sector. Dianne started their career as a Graduate Engineer at VicRoads in 2001 and later worked as a Traffic and Transport Engineer at Hyder Consulting. In 2005, they joined the Department of Infrastructure as an Assistant Programs Manager and eventually became a Project Manager. Dianne then worked at the Department of Transport in various roles, including Program Manager and Manager of the Program Management Office. In 2011, Dianne took on the role of Project Manager for the Public Transport Information Technology Strategy at the Department of Transport. Dianne later worked at Public Transport Victoria, where they held positions such as Franchise Manager, Manager of Special Projects, and Manager of Business Support & Records Management. In 2016, Dianne briefly worked at the Department of Economic Development, Jobs, Transport, and Resources as a Project Manager. Dianne then joined Metro Trains Melbourne as the Manager of Process Interface. Currently, Dianne holds the position of Head of Engineering, Civil & Structural Systems at Yarra Trams since June 2021, and prior to that, they were the Manager of Facilities at the same company. With their extensive experience, Dianne has developed a strong background in various aspects of transportation management and engineering.
Dianne Banks holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Civil Engineering from RMIT University, which they completed in 2004. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from RMIT University, graduating in 2001.
