Iyad Mohammad is an accomplished academic and musician with extensive experience in higher education. Currently serving as an Associate Professor at Yarmouk University since September 2013, Iyad teaches composition, theoretical and historical disciplines, and provides instrumental instruction on violoncello. Prior to this role, Iyad was a faculty member at the Jordan Academy of Music from September 2006 to September 2013, where the focus was on teaching similar subjects. Additionally, Iyad held the position of Dean and Composer at the National Music Conservatory from September 2003 to August 2006 while also teaching. Iyad holds a Ph.D. in Contemporary Composition and the History and Theory of Music from Belaruskaja Dzjarżaunaja Akademija Muzyki, where studies were completed from 1994 to 2006. Education began at Ali Bin Abi-Talib High School.
