Yunfeng (Bruce) Shi is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in mechanical and product design development, particularly in heavy equipment manufacturing. Currently serving as a Product Design Development Engineer at Yamaha Motor Manufacturing Corporation of America since January 2018, Yunfeng has previously held positions including Mechanical Design Engineer at The Rock Equipment, Inc. and Project Design Engineer at Sany America Inc. There, responsibilities included the design of heavy equipment prototypes such as Continuous Miners and leading sub-system design efforts while collaborating with teams in China. In earlier roles, Yunfeng contributed to the design of crawlers and gathering heads for Continuous Miners and provided technical support for lorry-mounted cranes. Yunfeng holds a Bachelor's degree from Liaoning University of Technology, earned in 2005.
