Andrew West currently serves as an Incoming Compliance Analyst at The D. E. Shaw Group and holds multiple positions at Yale University, including Research Assistant at the Digital Ethics Center and Engineering Tour Guide. Active in public service, Andrew is part of the Obama-Chesky Voyager Scholar for Public Service program. Previous experience includes roles as a Student Fellow at Yale Law School's Information Society Project and Independent Research Fellow at the Berkman Klein Center at Harvard University. Additionally, Andrew has conducted research at the MIT Media Lab and Yale's Seto Lab, and participated in internships with the Surveillance Technology Oversight Project and Google. Andrew is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Statistics and Data Science at Yale University, with additional studies abroad in Copenhagen and Paris.
