Samantha Liu is a dedicated professional currently serving as a Research Assistant at NYU Langone Health in the Center for Surgical & Transplant Applied Research and Project Healthcare within the Department of Health Equity since June 2024. Samantha also holds the position of Managing Editor and Associate Editor at The New Journal since March 2023, while actively contributing to Yale Scientific Magazine as a Community Coordinator, Staff Writer, and Scope Editor since September 2022. In addition, Samantha is a Research Associate at Yale University School of Medicine and previously worked as a Fellow at No Patient Left Behind. Additional experience includes serving as Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Chair and Beat Reporter for Yale Daily News and an internship at The New York Times. Prior roles include Documentation Lead at Nokia Bell Labs and Fiction Mentee at The Adroit Journal. Samantha is pursuing dual Bachelor's degrees in English and Molecular, Cellular & Developmental Biology at Yale University, alongside studies at the Yale Jackson School of Global Affairs, expected to graduate in 2026.
