Marty Butts is an experienced facilities management professional, currently serving as the Director of Facilities Management for the Mount Angel School District since April 2023. Previously, Marty has held various roles including Facilities Manager at Yakima Products since November 2015, where responsibilities encompass maintaining and overseeing company facilities to ensure safety and functionality. Marty’s extensive background includes positions such as Facilities Lead for the City of Lake Oswego, Chief Engineer with Grubb & Ellis Management Services, and multiple building engineer roles across different organizations, showcasing a strong expertise in project coordination, vendor management, and maintenance operations. Marty also has a foundation in HVAC, having worked as an HVAC Technician earlier in the career. Educational qualifications include a Limited Maintenance Electrician certification from the Building Codes Division acquired between 2008 and 2017, alongside a high school diploma from Del Oro High School in Loomis, California.
