Laura Klasner Shira is an experienced Environmental Engineer who has worked at various organizations including Yakama Nation Fisheries, WA State Department of Ecology, and American Engineering Testing. Laura has a Masters degree in Hydrology and Water Resources from the University of Arizona and a Bachelors degree in Environmental Engineering from Michigan Technological University. Their work focuses on managing contaminated sites for cleanup, conducting research on surface-groundwater exchange, and teaching science and math at high schools.
