Dan Banefelt has extensive work experience in the gaming industry. Dan started their career in 2007 as a Level Designer at Warsow and later joined Teotl Studios in 2009 in the same role. In 2011, they became a Technical Designer at YAGER and transitioned to a Senior Technical Designer position in 2012. Dan then took on the role of Lead Level Designer at YAGER in 2016, leading a co-dev team for People Can Fly's Outriders. Recently, in 2020, they were promoted to the position of Creative Director at YAGER. Additionally, in 2015, they briefly worked as a Level Design Teacher at Games Academy.
Dan Banefelt attended Stockholm University from 2005 to 2008, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer & Systems Science with a concentration in game development. After that, they enrolled in Futuregames Academy from 2008 to 2010, completing a Qualified Vocational degree in Game Design.
