Tore Søderblom has diverse work experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry. Tore currently holds the position of VP CMC Development at Y-mAbs Therapeutics, Inc., where they have been working since 2018. Tore has also served as a Senior Director CMC Development and Director CMC Development at the same company. Prior to this, Tore worked at CMC Biologics as a Manager from 2015 to 2018. In this role, they were responsible for the process transfer of new biotechnology drug substances and process validation. Tore also provided input to regulatory filings. Before joining CMC Biologics, Tore was a Senior Project Manager at Novo Nordisk from 2010 to 2015. Earlier in their career, they held the position of Manager Cell Culture Manufacturing at CMC Biologics A/S from 2005 to 2010, where they oversaw the production of three cell culture lines. Tore also worked as an Upstream Scientist at Pharmexa A/S in 2005. Prior to that, they were employed at ALK Abelló, where they held the roles of Manager and Fermentation Chemist. As a Manager, they were responsible for the development of allergens made by recombinant technology and the design of a small-scale production facility. As a Fermentation Chemist, Tore built up know-how and facilities for microbial fermentation. Tore started their career as a Microbiologist at Alpharma, where they focused on strain and process development for Vancomycin production.
Tore Søderblom attended the University of Copenhagen from 1988 to 1994, where they obtained a M.Sc. degree in Biology.
