Murray Hendriksen has a diverse work experience in various roles within the software engineering and construction industries. Murray started their career as a Graduate Automation Engineer at CooperVision, where they developed machine vision software systems and conducted training. Murray then progressed to become an Automation Engineer, leading the development and maintenance of software systems.
After their time at CooperVision, Murray joined ML Electronics as a Software Engineer, where they managed software development for clients' applications. Murray then moved on to 4E Futures, where they worked as a Software Engineer and developed software for clients' applications using various languages.
In 2017, Murray co-founded Conficio Product Design, where they served as the Software Director. Murray led development in augmented reality and virtual reality for clients, while also contributing to strategic engineering direction and strategy.
Currently, Murray serves as a Technical Co-Founder at XYZ Reality, an innovative start-up that uses augmented reality to streamline construction workflows. This includes enabling all stakeholders to work from the same 3D model, reducing costs and lead times.

Murray Hendriksen completed their Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Portsmouth. Murray attended the university from 2006 to 2010. Prior to that, they attended St Gregorys in Tunbridge Wells between 1998 and 2005, but it is unknown if they obtained a degree or field of study from there. In 2015, Hendriksen obtained the CEng certification from the Engineering Council.
