Senior Software Engineer at Xtivia

Phuong Nguyen has worked as a software engineer since 2005. In 2005, they worked as an Associate Software Engineer at APA Vietnam, where they participated as a junior team member in the design and development of the Time Keeper application and the APA website. Phuong then worked as a Software Engineer at Lotus Solution Center in 2006, where they facilitated the development of an Academic and Student Management System and took an instrumental role in development of technologies, frameworks, websites, and desktop applications. In 2006, they also worked as a Software Engineer at SaigonTel, where they drove the successful Go-Live of Cyber Cash System, Bonus Management, and Payment and Sale Management projects. In 2007, they worked as a Principal Software Engineer at CSC, where they liaised between onshore and offshore teams to track project deliverables. From 2015 to 2016, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at KMS Technology, Inc., where they coordinated design architecture, specifications, implementation and estimated effort. Lastly, from 2016 to present, they have worked as a Senior Software Engineer at XTIVIA, Inc., where they have worked closely with product owners, designers, and other engineers to plan, scope, build, and deploy new features, and provided technical direction to the small team.

Phuong Nguyen has an extensive educational background. From 2002 to 2005, they earned an Associate's Degree in Information Technology from Lotus College. From 2011 to 2014, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology from Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH). Finally, from 2016 to 2018, they earned a Master's Degree in Computer Science from Maharishi International University. In addition, they have obtained various certifications, including Liferay DXP Backend Developer from Liferay in December 2018, PSM I - Professional Scrum Master I from Scrum.org in June 2015, OCPJWCD (Java EE 6.0 Web Component Developer Certified Expert) from Oracle in March 2015, and SCJP (Sun Certified Programmer for Java SE 5.0) from Sun Microsystems in April 2009.
