Josef Mayer is an accomplished professional in product regulation and safety, currently serving as the Head of Product Regulation at XSYS Global since September 2022. In this role, Josef has established the product regulatory function, ensuring global compliance with regulations and supporting the product development process. Previously, Josef held leadership positions at Baerlocher GmbH for over 15 years, including Head of Product Safety and Chemicals Management, where responsibilities included overseeing product safety, raw materials management, and global REACH coordination. With foundational experience as a Lab Worker and regulatory roles contributing to technical and compliance expertise, Josef holds a PhD in Chemistry and a Diploma in Chemistry from the Technical University of Munich.
