Aaron started their career at UnitedHealth Group, where they served as Chief Architect from March 2018 to November 2020. In this role, they were responsible for consolidating 14 medical claims processing systems into a single platform built on modern cloud native technologies. This consolidation ultimately reduced operational costs through platform simplification.

During their time at UnitedHealth Group, Aaron also improved the company's competitiveness by enabling 4 new product offerings that leveraged a mix of new technical capabilities and partnerships with external organizations like Apple, VIM, Bind, and Peloton. In addition, they increased member fitness activity through incentive programs made possible by the development of capabilities needed to process data from IOT devices like smart watches.
