Jack Harasta

Jack Harasta has extensive work experience in the software development field. Jack started their career at IBM Global Services in 1998 and worked as an Applications Programmer. During their time there, they led a team in designing and implementing a custom SAP labeling and configuration strategy that is still in use globally.

In 2000, Jack joined Veridiem as a Software Engineer and co-designed and implemented a new Media Planner application. Jack also served as the project lead for the Simulator application, which allowed marketers to simulate the effects of different marketing investment plans.

Jack then worked at Enterasys Networks as a Software Engineer, where they implemented an emergency stop-gap solution for worldwide sales representatives to enter their opportunities into a consolidated repository.

In 2004, Jack joined FastChannel as a Senior Software Engineer. Jack implemented a digital media registration solution and designed a web solution to provide real-time visibility for customers.

Jack joined Vivox in 2006 as a Technical Lead & Senior Software Engineer. Jack oversaw all day-to-day engineering projects and managed a team. Jack also released major revisions of the T-Mobile Bobsled app and led the development of a desktop communications client with Facebook integration.

In 2018, Jack founded Register Zero Records, where they worked as an owner and composer. Jack released an original full-length score for the film "Repairs."

Lastly, Jack joined Extreme Reach in 2013, where they held various roles, including Vice President of Software Development, Creative Logistics, Director of Software Development, and Software Development Manager. During this time, they built a complex interface and fulfillment system for customers to manage their digital advertising campaigns, as well as a first-of-its-kind Media Marketplace application. These tools have generated significant revenue and reduced manual labor.

Jack Harasta attended SUNY Geneseo from 1993 to 1997, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science with minors in Math and Philosophy.
