Sylvia Ruiz is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in product development and management within the media and entertainment sectors. Currently serving as the Director of Product Development Management at Xperi Corporation, Sylvia has played a pivotal role in the Streaming & Media Solutions Group since October 2013. Prior to this, Sylvia operated as an independent consultant, contributing to significant projects for organizations such as the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, Media Science International, and Javelin Ventures, LLC. With a diverse background that includes roles such as Operations Project Manager at Related Content Database, Inc., Account Manager at 1K Studios, and Program Manager at Technicolor Creative Services, Sylvia has demonstrated expertise in managing complex operations, developing innovative media solutions, and leading cross-functional teams. Sylvia holds an MFA in Film and Television Studies from Florida State University and an MBA in Management from the University of South Florida.
