Menglai Li is a senior software engineer at XPENG Motors, specializing in the development of data preprocessing and loading components for machine learning model training and evaluation. Previously, Menglai served as a software engineer, focusing on sensor fusion regression data pipelines and performance metrics, and developed user-friendly annotation tools. Menglai has also worked as a graduate research assistant at the University of California San Diego, designing neural networks for drone path optimization, and as a teaching assistant, providing academic support in control system theory courses. Menglai's earlier experience as a research intern at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography involved advanced video processing techniques. Menglai holds a master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from UC San Diego and a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Xi'an Jiaotong University.
