Shimon Becker is a seasoned cybersecurity executive with extensive experience in technology management and product development. Currently serving as the VP of Observer Integration at XM Cyber since July 2022, Shimon has co-founded and held key leadership roles at Cyber Observer since November 2011, driving the creation of a unique cybersecurity assessment platform utilizing Continuous Controls Monitoring (CCM) technology. Shimon's expertise also includes an academic background as a lecturer at Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, teaching information technology management systems and strategic planning from September 2011 to September 2016. Prior to that, Shimon spent over a decade at the Office of the Prime Minister of Israel, managing major IT divisions and overseeing complex software development initiatives that supported government operations. Shimon holds a BSc in Computer Science from Champlain College and a Practical Engineer degree in Computer Science from Tel Aviv University.
