Thomas Billotte is a postdoctoral researcher at XLIM since November 2017, specializing in the design and fabrication of alkali photonic micro cells for quantum sensors and applications. Prior to this, Thomas completed a PhD at Université de Limoges, focusing on photonic microcell encapsulation of gases in hollow core optical fibers. Thomas has also held positions as a research engineer at ICMMO, conducting laser etching for optofluidics, and as an intern at multiple organizations including ICMMO - Saint Gobain Recherche and ALPhANOV, where research focused on femtosecond laser treatments and metal particle precipitation in glass. Thomas's educational background includes a degree in Physics and Chemistry from ENSCBP and a PhD in Photonic from Université de Limoges.
