Robert Waldrop is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software development and engineering solutions. Currently serving as a Principal Solutions Architect at Blue Cross NC since November 2021, Waldrop also founded and directs Tailor Made Tech and Xion Engineering, both established in August 2007, focusing on custom technology, app development, and industrial automation. Previous roles include Director of IT and Software at t3 Broadband and Senior Developer positions at both AirStrip and Sprint, where Waldrop contributed to next-generation medical applications and led development for mobile applications. Waldrop holds a BS in Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, completed graduate studies in Mechanical Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology, and is Six Sigma certified from Motorola University.
