John Whitford has a strong background in IT, with experience in various roles and companies. John began their career in 2004 as an Information Technology Specialist intern at BP. From 2006 to 2015, they worked at Structured Communication Systems, starting as a Managed Services Senior Engineer and later becoming the Network Operations Center Manager. In these roles, they managed, designed, and migrated IT environments for different organizations and was responsible for 24x7 NOC monitoring and alerting software. In 2018, they worked as a System Administrator at Wellpartner, Inc. and then as a Senior Analyst and System Administrator at CVS Health. Currently, they are employed as a Senior Systems Engineer at XIOLOGIX, starting from October 2019.

John Whitford completed their Associate of Science degree in Computer Engineering Technology/Technician from Bellingham Technical College. John obtained this degree between the years 2003 and 2005. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications including VMCE: Veeam Certified Engineer from Veeam Software in March 2022, MCTS: Windows Server 2008 Active Directory, Configuration from Microsoft in February 2014, MCTS: Windows Server 2008 Applications Infrastructure, Configuration from Microsoft in February 2014, MCTS: Windows Server 2008 Network Infrastructure, Configuration from Microsoft in February 2014, and MCSE: Windows Server 2003 from Microsoft in July 2012.
