Alexandros Sopasakis currently serves as the CEO of Ximantis AB since 2014 and as an Associate Professor at the Centre of Mathematics, Lund University, since September 2011, focusing on research and teaching. Previously, Alexandros held positions as a Research Associate at New York University, conducting research in planetary weather prediction from September 2002 to August 2003, and as a Research Fellow at UC Berkeley, collaborating on mathematical research with Graig Evans from December 2001 to August 2002. Additional experience includes a postdoctoral role at Georgia Institute of Technology from August to December 2001 and at Chalmers University of Technology from January 2000 to August 2001. Alexandros Sopasakis completed a Ph.D. in Mathematics at Texas A&M University from 1994 to 2000, also earning a Master's degree in Mathematics and Statistics and a Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics from the same institution.
