Sallyann Vu has a diverse work experience in the field of research and animal care. Sallyann is currently employed at Xilio Therapeutics, Inc. as a Senior Research Associate. Prior to this, they worked as a Research Associate at the same company starting in 2021.

Before joining Xilio Therapeutics, Inc., Sallyann worked at Biomodels, LLC as a Research Associate II from June 2017 to December 2020. In this role, they were responsible for various tasks including animal welfare monitoring, rodent drug administration, sample collection, and disease inoculation. Sallyann also gained proficiency in IVIS Bioluminescent Imaging, InExpose compact inhalation exposure machine, and FlexiVent Lung Mechanics. Additionally, they have experience with data entry in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Sallyann Vu's education history includes a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Veterinary/Animal Health Technology/Technician and Veterinary Assistant from Mount Ida College, which they obtained between 2014 and 2017. In 2021, they pursued online certificate programs at Harvard Medical School, completing the HMX Fundamentals/Pro in Immunoncology/Immuno-Oncology and Immunology. In 2018, Sallyann attended the IVIS University Lumina 201 Advanced Training Course at PerkinElmer. Prior to their college education, they obtained a High School Diploma with Honors from Randolph High School in 2012. Additionally, Sallyann has a certification as a Manicurist, which they obtained in June 2012 from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
