Katarina M.V. Galic serves as the Founder and CEO of XIergy SusTech Powerhouse since February 2023, while concurrently pursuing a PhD in Sustainable Energy Systems through the MIT Portugal Program. Galic has held prominent roles including President and Advisor to the CEO at Zergratran (2021-2023), Co-Chair of the ESG World Summit and GRIT Awards in Singapore (2022-2023), and Director positions with the EU Tech Chamber’s Women In Tech and SDGs & Ethics Commissions (2021-2022). Previous leadership experience includes serving as Director of Development at CIFF (2018-2021) and Canada Bridges (2015-2018), Executive Director at IAF (2013-2014), and Head of the Alberta Business Centre at Public Services and Procurement Canada (2007-2012). Educational credentials include a PhD candidate status at MIT Portugal, an Executive Program from Harvard Kennedy School, a degree in Management of International Development from Università Bocconi, and an MBA from the Institut Franco-Américain de Management in Paris.
