João Caroço has work experience as an Engineer of Software at Xgeeks since August 2020. Prior to that, they worked as a Researcher at inCentea from December 2019 to June 2020. João also has experience as a Researcher at Politénico de Leiria, where they worked on projects such as Help2care, a digital platform aimed at reducing readmissions of dependent patients. Their role at Politénico de Leiria lasted from November 2017 to December 2019.

João Caroço pursued their education at the Polytechnic of Leiria. From 2013 to 2017, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Engineering Informatics with a specialization in Information Systems. Subsequently, from 2017 to 2019, they pursued a Master's degree in Engineering Informatics with a focus on Mobile Computing.
