William Monckton has over eight years of experience in strategy and operations, currently serving as the Lead Director for Strategy & Operations at Xero since July 2019, with previous roles as Senior Manager and Strategy Manager within the company. Prior to Xero, William worked at Deloitte Australia as a Senior Strategy Consultant focused on M&A Strategy and Corporate Development, and at Telstra as a Strategy Consultant after completing a graduate program. William holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Sydney, specializing in Commercial Law, International, and Global Relations, and completed the Higher School Certificate at St Aloysius’ College, Milson’s Point Kirribilli.
