Tadas Valiukas is a Senior Software Engineer at XDEFI Wallet since January 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Kraken Digital Asset Exchange as a Golang/Rust Software Engineer from January 2019 to November 2022, where they developed and maintained robust microservices based on the Kafka messaging system. From November 2017 to July 2019, they worked at Mysterium Network as a Golang Engineer, where they built a decentralized VPN node and developed Ethereum smart contracts for micropayments. Tadas also worked at Western Union as a Backend Engineer from May 2017 to November 2017. Before that, they were a Lead Developer at Ruptela from December 2013 to September 2016, and again from September 2016 to April 2017. Tadas also worked at Exigen Services as a Lead Software Developer from February 2013 to November 2013, and as a Senior Software Developer from October 2011 to February 2013. Additionally, they worked at Tieto Lietuva as a Senior Software Developer from June 2010 to October 2011, and as a Software Developer from December 2007 to June 2010. Tadas started their career as a Software Developer at UAB Tigbis in September 2004, where they developed high-performance software for network data capture and analysis in a Linux environment using C/C++ tools.

Tadas Valiukas obtained a Bachelor's degree in Informatics from Vilnius University, where they studied from 2002 to 2006. Tadas then continued their education at Vilnius University and completed a Master's degree in Informatics from 2007 to 2009.

In addition to their formal education, Tadas Valiukas has also obtained several certifications. In April 2010, they obtained the Sun Certified Business Component Developer certification from Sun Microsystems. In December 2008, they received the Sun Certified Java Developer certification, also from Sun Microsystems. Additionally, in January 2008, they obtained the BEA Tuxedo: ATMI Application Development certification from BEA Oy.
