Robert Kenney currently serves as President of Xcel Energy's Colorado Operating Company, a leading Fortune 500 energy provider in the United States, since June 2022. Prior to this role, Robert held the position of Senior Vice President of Regulatory and External Affairs at Pacific Gas and Electric Company from August 2015 to June 2022, where responsibilities included overseeing local governmental affairs and the PG&E Foundation. Previously, Robert was Chairman/Commissioner at the Missouri Public Service Commission from July 2009 to August 2015, regulating Missouri's investor-owned utilities. Earlier experience includes serving as Chief of Staff at the Missouri Attorney General's Office, and roles as an attorney at Polsinelli Shalton Flanigan Suelthaus, as well as Assistant Attorney General in the Consumer Protection Division. Robert holds a Juris Doctor degree from Saint Louis University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Hampton University.
