Jamila A. Smith, PE, PMP, MBA, MPM, serves as the Chief Executive Officer and Owner of financialfreedomllc since April 2020, managing an investment holding company focused on maximizing income and capital appreciation through asset management. Concurrently, Jamila has been employed at Xcel Energy since April 2012, currently working as a Principal Electrical/I&C Fix-It-Now Engineer, with previous roles including Principal Electrical and I&C Design Engineer and Senior Electrical and I&C Design Engineer. Prior experience includes positions at CB&I as Engineer 5, Richard Brady & Associates as Project Manager, HDR as Electrical Engineer, and Burns & McDonnell as Electrical Project Engineer. Jamila holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Kansas State University, an MBA, and a Master's degree in Project Management from Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University.
