Tom Snyder has held various positions in the technology and business industries. Tom began their career in 1989 as a Research and Process Engineer at Chevron. In 1997, they joined McKinsey & Company as a Consultant. In 2000, Tom co-founded Xantrion IT Consulting, where they currently serve as Owner, CFO/COO. Xantrion provides IT outsourcing to businesses of 50 to 500 employees in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Tom Snyder obtained a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Minnesota between 1979 and 1983. Tom then earned a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison between 1983 and 1989. In February 2000, they obtained a MCSE certification from Microsoft.
