Jen Dodd has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. In 2004, they started as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at The University of Queensland and worked in the role until 2007. During this time, they also served as a Consultant in Science Outreach through their self-employed venture, Jen Dodd.

In 2006, Jen became the Director of BrisScience, a position they held until 2007. Jen continued to pursue their passion for science outreach and co-founded SciBarCamp in 2008, where they served as a Co-Founder until 2009.

From 2007 to 2008, Jen worked as the Senior Manager of Scientific Outreach at Perimeter Institute, where they were responsible for managing festival and special events programming. Jen later became the Festival and Special Events Programming Manager from 2008 to 2009, overseeing the content lead for the science festival "Quantum to Cosmos."

In 2009, Jen took on the role of Managing Director at Subtle Technologies until 2012. Jen'sresponsibilities in this position are not specified.

Jen completed their Bachelor of Science degree with first-class honors in the fields of Physics and Mathematics in the year 2000. Following this, Jen pursued further studies and obtained their Ph.D. in Physics from The University of Queensland, completing their doctoral degree between 2001 and 2004.
